25 | Bullets and Babies Don’t Mix: How Reload Love Helps Children Affected by Terrorism

“We realized that kids are caught in the crossfire and that terrorists have no regard for children.”

Jennifer Santiago and Lenya Heitzig have gone into the jungles of Burma and traveled overseas to help children who have been impacted by terrorism.

On today’s episode, Lenya and Jennifer share the origin story of the Reload Love ministry and why they began collecting bullet casings to sell with the goal of helping others.

They discuss why they build playgrounds for children in countries where the only ‘toys’ to play with are dirt and tin cans and discuss how Jesus has led them to this place.

You’ll hear heartfelt passion, funny stories about barbie dolls in the jungle and Jen and Lenya’s preparation for the jungles and much, much more.
